BOOM!!! This afternoon’s thunderstorm across the Darling Downs was incredible…
We’d been travelling around out west teaching Photography Workshops & shooting Astrophotography and were very excited the forecast predicted to have severe in the area. We decided to stick around & chased 3 cells, but this one was our absolute favourite!
We always wanted to get a composition like this, so we sat patiently in the field waiting. The lightning was non stop & the camera was working in overdrive! So happy to have captured this image & hope the horse was ok as she was running back & forth all over the paddock in fear…and so were we in the end as it finally got close, we bolted for the car!
