One of Perth’s famous landmarks, is this beautiful boat shed on the Swan River in Perth. We’d been wanting to shoot here since we first started photography. We’ve had MANY attempts and more fails then we’d like to mention, but we were determined to capture something different…something unique from most other shots taken from here.

It was a dark and stormy morning, not ideal for sunrise, but we got up and gave it a go. We decided to put the Lee Big Stopper through it’s paces and went for a VERY long exposure of 8 minutes. We absolutely love how it turned out! The movement of the storm clouds mixed with the warmth and colour of the sunrise created this very moody image.
